Easter Bunny linen napkins

Material

To create the bunny fold you will need a linen napkin in your favourite colour – we currently have 11 colours to choose from and are using the pink clay colour here.
Other materials: You will also need a paper clip or hairpin/bobby pin, a wooden ball or button, some yarn, removable glue or adhesive pads (similar to modelling clay)

Level of difficulty: Medium
Duration: Approx. 3-5 minutes for the first bunny, after that it will of course go faster.

Step 1

Unfold the fabric napkin in the middle.

Step 2

Fold the napkin upwards once lengthways to the middle.

Step 3

Place the napkin with the open side facing up. Then fold the left and right corners upwards. The best way to do this is to place a finger on the bottom centre and hold the napkin in place.

Step 4

Fold the two top corners diagonally to the centre to make a square.

Step 5

Now fold the left and right sides towards the centre line so that it looks a bit like rabbit ears.

Step 6

Turn the napkin to the other side.

Step 7

Fold the bottom tip upwards so that the napkin looks like a triangle.

Step 8

Fold the napkin back in the middle and fix it in the back with a paper clip or a hairpin/bobby pin.

Step 9

For the final step, we give the napkin bunny a cute face! To do this we used a removable adhesive dot (available from various manufacturers and in any craft or stationery shop or supermarket). Press the wooden ball onto the dot to create the nose. Then fix small yarn whiskers into the drilled ball on the left and right. Finally, press the whole thing firmly onto your napkin. The bunny is ready!
